Second hand and used clubs are the easiest way to play the brands the tour plays without paying new prices. A driver or set of irons from a couple of seasons ago is rarely far behind the latest model, and it often costs a fraction of what it did new.
Every retailer here is a specialist golf shop, not a private seller or an auction site. Clubs are checked and graded before they are listed, and you buy from a business with its own returns policy. Each shop grades condition in its own words, so compare the photos as well as the grade.
What to check
- Shaft flex. Match it to your swing speed: ladies, senior, regular, stiff or extra stiff. The right flex matters more than having the newest model.
- Loft. On drivers, woods and wedges the loft is the spec that matters most. It is shown on each listing where the retailer gives it.
- Left or right handed. Use the dexterity filter if you play left-handed.
- Grips. Worn grips are cheap to replace, so do not let them put you off an otherwise good club.
